Having clarified Critical Theory’s methodology in the foregoing, this final chapter is aimed at illustrating its application by presenting a series of concrete examples drawn from the research of established critical theorists. Each case is presented in sufficiently transparent terms to provide a model for the organization of research. That it is not a matter of mechanical application, however, is apparent from the fact that the selected authors, besides dealing with very different topics, emphasize different aspects of the methodology and employ different methods in their research.
