To put it simply, interdiscursivity means we all come from multiple worlds and when we interact through talk with others, their worlds and our worlds intersect and sometimes clash.6
Worlds, when seen from the perspective of language, are interrelated webs of discourses. Every interaction reflects all the discourses available to the interactants.
