ABSTRACT
The phrase ‘the moral argument’ is used in philosophy of religion to cover a wide range of arguments that use the existence of morality as evidence for God’s existence. For example, some people have argued that there is no point being moral unless God exists, while other people have argued that the fact that there is such a thing as morality is because God made it – i.e. morality depends on God.
