ABSTRACT
The house was designed by Robert and Brenda Vale, who are renowned in the UK for their environmentally sensitive designs. Although the house was completed in 1993, even by today’s standards it has very low energy consumption. What makes it even more interesting is that it achieved this by means of low technology.
