ABSTRACT
This book focuses on the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan as part of a series on the main countries within the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. It is intended for a general reader, who is not necessarily a specialist, but one who has some familiarity with the main issues facing the area. The publication is intended to be a brief but comprehensive guide to Jordan and one which will suggest further reading for a more in-depth study of the Hashemite Kingdom.
