ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we discuss a variety of different kinds of intentionalist theory, including representationalism, which claims that the phenomenology of a visual experience is determined by its content. We then go on to discuss a number of important issues for intentionalists, focusing in particular on the nature of perceptual content.
