ABSTRACT
ANEIGHBOUR OF MINE DIED recently. She died from cancer. She had lived near me for 11 years, but I didn’t know her name until she was dead. Another of my neighbours, a medical practitioner as it happens, explained that she died in hospital soon after it was discovered she had metastases throughout her body which had spread from a previously diagnosed and treated breast cancer.
