INTRODUCTION This book sets out to provide a clear introductory text on English law and thorough coverage of the AS Law speciﬁcations, presenting the subject in a sufﬁciently interesting and stimulating way so that it appeals both to students and law teachers. It is intended as a guide and reference work for AS Law and as an aid to revision. The main purposes of this Introduction are:
