ABSTRACT
Understanding which issues activists deem most important for the movement to address is important because individuals tend to be mobilized around issues that are communicated in ways that are personally relevant to them. Moreover, activists’ opinions infl uence peace movement foci in terms of whether to concentrate primarily on anti-war efforts or incorporate such endeavors as part of a larger goal such as social justice or confl ict prevention.
