ABSTRACT
We hear it frequently: sports is a microcosm of the world around it. Social issues, financial issues, drugs, sexual and gender issues, high-finance and business issues-all sorts of topics more complex than ‘ball meeting ball’ or ‘ball dropping through net’ that show up every day.
