ABSTRACT
Ms. Ortiz walked around the room to help students and then wrote headings on the board “Family of units, Family of teens, Family of twenties, etc.” She then asked individual members of each group to place their results on the chalkboard identifying the lower numbers and the higher number for their family of tens.
