ABSTRACT
The key objective of this book has been to determine the appropriateness of MU for the GCC economic region. In order to achieve this, it firstly assessed the bloc against the OCA criteria (Chapter 3) and then measured the extent to which it has thus far met and is working towards meeting the European criteria (Chapter 4). Finally it focused on the potential costs and benefits of the MU project for the GCC (Chapters 5 and 6 respectively).
