ABSTRACT

So far in our practice the information society can be developed by supporting or re-defining transformations required by visions; this can become a creative process and can help us to think of different aspects of a vision. Visions gain importance thanks to the power of information and communication technologies (ICTs) which gives us opportunities to think of them in terms of ‘bits’. Systems methodology use has showed us how practitioners can help firm up visions by looking at particular issues or problems related to putting plans into practice.
