Actually, I made it easier for you: although some of the highlightings were those of the original authors, the majority are my editorial ones, looking to draw attention to that prodigious ‘common ground’ I cited in Chapter 1. And as you may also have noticed, it’s not just that common ground which is prodigious: so is the number of qualities, skills and techniques recommended.
