ABSTRACT
THE RAMIFICATIONS OF THE CRUMBLING relationship between the central government and business did not stop at the managerial level of the enterprise. Even though the initial reaction and response grew out of the manager’s confusion over the redefinition of traditional roles in the relationship, what developed as a further consequence spread far wider than the circle of business directors.
