ABSTRACT
If you were in a controlling and abusive relationship, chances are you were also subjected to some form of sexual abuse. Many women who are in such relationships have a difficult time believing that they were sexually assaulted. Unfortunately, women are often raised to believe that an intimate relationship obligates them to consent to sex whenever their partner wants it.
