ABSTRACT
Just as in the domains described in previous chapters, migrant transnational practices involve, or have marked impacts upon, religious phenomena. This includes patterns of organization, personal and group identities, intergroup relations, modes of practice and even elements of faith. However, many profound patterns of change or structural transformation affecting religion among migrants also occur prior to the effects of transnationalism. Therefore, in order to attempt a better understanding of processes of change and variable stimuli prompting or conditioning such processes, it is worthwhile to distil different dynamics or levels of such religious change.
