ABSTRACT

Children and adolescents may want to make “memory boxes” to honor and remember the person who died. These boxes could be kept as keepsakes, or they could be used as pencil boxes, etc., depending on what the child or adolescent desires. Having a pencil or even lunch box that has a picture of the person who died inside of it can make the child feel that they are bringing that person “with them” everyday. The picture could be in an inside cover or some other private place, if the child wants to keep the picture private.
