Governmentality and networks

Our final chapter on alternative concepts discusses the notion of organizational network, but specifically connection to the Foucauldian theory of govermentality (see Foucault, 1991a). In so doing, we shift tack from the largely theory-based explorations of previous chapters to a more empirical form of organizational case analysis. In so doing, we explore in a more tangible sense some of the issues of discourse raised in Part I.
