According to Kjell, the product “has its basis in the so-called ‘people-centric solution.’” Using Portfolio’s products, employees get tools to document and visualize their professional competencies, making it easier for them to get matched to the right position. It’s quite common, of course, for large organizations to have employees keep their competency profiles up-to-date so that new projects can be matched with employees’ special interests and skills, and vice versa. But the tool provided by Portfolio facilitates this whole match-up process, and Kjell contends this “gives value-added for the company” by enhancing the company’s “internal marketplaces for positions and projects.”
