Information technology has started to cancel out the advantages of geographical proximity and the market has moved closer to going global. In this competitive development framework, companies are definitely out to recover any efficiency margin by singling out and pursuing all solutions capable of cutting costs, such as focusing on core business, using the service industry, downsizing, rationalizing, and selecting goods and markets.
