How courses are organised and how you will learn

You’ve researched available courses, picked the one that’s best for you, got the requisite grades, secured your place and arrived on campus. Each course and institution will have its own content and organisation, and you should look carefully at specific course outlines to find out how you will be taught. One area of common ground in creative writing courses is that you will be expected to attend workshops or seminars, and perhaps lectures and tutorials. Crucially, you’ll be expected to complete the bulk of your course requirements outside the scheduled ‘contact’ hours.
