ABSTRACT
This house was unconventional in design, as it was required for use
by a single retired person who hoped never to need to move from it. It
incorporated a number of features to make it useable by a disabled
person, even though the client had no disabling conditions when
it was built. It was tendered for by a number of well-recommended
medium-sized builders against detailed drawings and specification.
