ABSTRACT

The largest collage I know of is a tower of found objects built slowly over the years. It rises high over the one-story modest homes that surround the towers and the small house of its builder. He is dead now, but his collage of things found around him and his neighborhood still stands and has become a monument to the creative urge that lies within each of us. The Watts Towers speak of all the different ways we create meaning and beauty in our lives.
