ABSTRACT
Change is a constant in politics. When your parents were born, much of Asia, Africa, and the Middle East still consisted of colonies; Germany, Italy, and Japan were recently defeated tyrannies; and the Soviet Union was the source of a communist ideology that threatened to spread around the globe. Today things look much different; much has changed.
