ABSTRACT

This chapter reviews studies that used the Silver Drawing Test (SDT) to assess the cognitive skills and attitudes of individuals and groups of children and adolescents with disabilities. It also compared their scores with the scores of those with no known impairments. Some studies examined the SDT performances of students with hearing impairments and learning disabilities as well as adolescents and adults with brain injuries; others examined age and gender differences in the spatial skills and attitudes of unimpaired children, adolescents, young adults, and senior adults.
