ABSTRACT

This chapter reviews additional studies that used the Draw a Story (DAS) assessment for different purposes. It also suggests procedures to facilitate the identification of students who may be at risk for aggression and/or depression. The studies compare the responses of adolescents with and without emotional disturbances, age and gender differences in attitudes toward self and others, and gender differences in the fantasies of adolescents with and without histories of delinquent behavior. They also include studies by various practitioners who used DAS with clinical and nonclinical populations.
