ABSTRACT
Mbugua was born in Ngong near Nairobi, Kenya, the third in a family of seven children. He grew up in an ethnically mixed environment among the Kikuyu and the culture loving Maasai peoples. This played an essential role in his development, inculcating a deep appreciation of cultural diversity and a love of the rich, traditional African heritage.
