ABSTRACT
“I have always loved stories: reading them, listening to them, imagining myself inside them. I believe that all children have gifts although they may lose them, or doubt them, or never recognize their value. Children who love stories, who imagine stories of their own, or who secretly harbor a dream of one day being a writer—are gifted. Those are the children I want to reach through my writing and storytelling. I want them to know that they also have stories and that they can tell them.”
