ABSTRACT
In Chapter Three, I examined the variability in the probability of earning degrees at high-quality institutions among different students. There the out-comes of higher education were considered equitable if students had the same probability of earning degrees at high-quality institutions, regardless of their demographic characteristics and socioeconomic status. Analysis in Chapter Three indicated considerable variations among individuals in the probability of earning degrees at high-quality institutions.
