With so much work to be done, who is being trained to do it? Foster home-fi nding and adoption placement are two separate but simi-
lar tasks, but since few institutions of higher learning have curriculums to prepare social workers for either of those positions, the individuals who do the work typically are trained in-staff by supervisors who may or may not have ever done the work themselves.
