ABSTRACT

Support services for dyslexic students in higher education have developed steadily in recent years, evolving with the increasing numbers and range of students studying at this level (see note 8.1), and also as institutions respond to the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) 2005 (see note 8.2). Many of these students will have had support and provision at school or at a previous college and will therefore expect a similar service in their degree studies.
