ABSTRACT

In 2001, I started doing interviews around Cape Town with people living with HIV with three research assistants, Nomvula Zenzile, Sabelo Mazibuko and Lumka Daniel. In 2003 and 2004, I reinterviewed some of our research participants. The interviews aimed to gather people’s assessments of the support they had which helped them live with HIV, and the support they wished they had.
