ABSTRACT
As Popper (1965) argued, there is no such thing as evidence for a theory, because many explanations can encompass any particular evidence. Rather, a theory is only so good as the attempts, via evidence, to disprove it. It survives only so long as it remains consistent with the findings of many investigators.
