ABSTRACT

Marriage is not easy; neither is divorce. You married with the hope this would be your first and only marriage. It was to be “happy ever after.” For approximately 40 percent of people this hope became a statistic-a divorce statistic. This does not negate you as a person, especially if you learn from the divorce. The fact this marriage ended does not mean you did not have good experiences or that you did not learn about yourself and relationships. Do not allow the divorce to negate the value of those years, the lessons learned, or yourself.
