ABSTRACT
The speculations of social psychiatry have contributed a great deal to the development of the community aspects, leading psychiatry to address such areas as poverty, racial prejudice, war and mass migrations. Unfortunately, social psychiatry’s efforts were swallowed up by the magnitude of the problems addressed, with little or no impact.
