Comparing the EU’s role in neighbourhood conflicts

This book has analyzed the EU’s role in five neighbourhood conflicts through the conduct of different types of contractual relations. This chapter draws together these empirical findings, examining comparatively the EU’s role. It first compares the EU’s impact on several dimensions of conflict. It then assesses comparatively the effectiveness of EU contractual relations in the field of conflict resolution.
