ABSTRACT
Most young children enjoy the opportunity to be the centre of attention, and even ‘show off’ a bit, when they feel secure within a situation and group of people. Offering them regular opportunities to stand onstage and speak, act, mime, sing or dance allows them to discover, develop and display their natural expressive abilities and enjoy sharing them with an audience.This builds a degree of self-confidence that will prove valuable in many varied situations throughout their lives.
