ABSTRACT
During the foundation stage, children spend a great deal of their time learning to control their own bodies and exploring what they can do with them. It is important that they are given enough time and opportunities to work and play with their whole bodies and to gradually develop basic gross and fine motor skills and the confidence to use them.Young children learn through doing things and they learn more quickly if they enjoy what they are doing.
