ABSTRACT
One important part of the Russians travelers’ debasement and ridiculing of the Iranians is to attack various aspects of the social structure of their society, such as administration and jurisprudence, education and health care, military, architecture and other arts. The aim of their criticism is the same as that of their degrading accounts of the Iranians’ morals and manners – to prove their own European superiority and to justify their domination of Iran.
