ABSTRACT
Supporting and meeting the needs of all the pupils with special educational needs in a school is not only very important, it is often a very complex task. It will involve all the staff of the school – head teacher, SENCO, class teachers, assistants and administrative staff – in a variety of different roles. For pupils at School Action Plus and those with statements, a range of professionals from the LEA support services and also from the health service or social services may be involved.
