ABSTRACT
Anyone who is remotely interested in the world of education in this country right now would be forgiven for thinking that the behaviour of young people has deteriorated. Media reports seem to be full with comments on their attitudes and antics, and the misdemeanours of the few obliterate the fact that the majority of young people are perfectly pleasant, decent members of our communities.
