ABSTRACT
Lord Snotty has bought a new painting of some tulips in a vase, by the famous
Dutch painter, Van Dryver.
‘It really is superb,’ says Snotty, to everyone who visits. ‘The brushwork, the
colour – truly this is a masterpiece!’ Then one day, he is visited by the famous art
historian, Maurice Dance.
