Conclusions and Recommendations

This chapter gives the conclusions of the study. Section 7.1 presents the recommendations for action in the field of arms control proper. Section 7.2 is devoted to transparency and confidence-building measures. Areas to be studied in further research are indicated in Section 7.3, and the final Section 7.4 presents concluding thoughts on international security in an area of revolutionary technological changes.
