ABSTRACT
Every member of staff employed in a school has, as a primary duty, to give consideration to the health and safety of both the pupils and the other staff. It is everyone’s responsibility to ensure that the school environment is both safe and secure for all the community. In this context the school environment includes all buildings, the grounds of the school and out-of-school trips and visits.
