ABSTRACT
During the second half of the 1990s, information and communication technology (ICT) has been an important determinant of the economic development of the world economy. ICT goods are hardware and software and automation services, telecom network and data transport services. ICT is a so-called breakthrough technology. It has a large variety of applications and is complementary to many other potential new techniques.
