ABSTRACT
The New Relationship has been given a cautious welcome by schools. This is because some of the seven elements of the NRwS jig saw are seen as a positive step forward while others are viewed as potentially problematic. This chapter draws on recent studies which elicited teachers’ views as to the perceived strengths and potential drawbacks.
