ABSTRACT
I somehow don’t think I shall get this debated in any dignified forum. But teachers – especially headteachers – are in a curious position. They occupy one of the few remaining pedestals in society – being expected to maintain the highest standards of personal behaviour, ideals, integrity etc, as part of the job description.
