ABSTRACT
Creative thinking and problem solving is not an unfettered process.There are blocks to creative thinking and creative problem solving.The blocks are essentially of two varieties – individual and organisational. First we shall look at the need to be ready for change and to deal with new kinds of problem. Next we shall look at ideas about the problem solving process and what it involves. Then we shall turn our attention to the various blocks that are encountered when trying to solve problems or think creatively.
