ABSTRACT
For many new teachers, it is the case that you are told exactly what to teach and you have little, if any, freedom to select the content: you have a set seminar series that cover topics x, y and z; the laboratory sessions will include the following experiments/topics. In such cases, this chapter will have, at this stage, less value to you as we are taking as our starting point that you are free to select the content.
